Vintage Notes:
'A new wine for the stable.....from high up in the sub-region of Marananga where I can utilise whole bunches in my fermentation and maceration. Foot crushing and pigeage was needed and the ferment allowed to begin with natural yeasts.
This was an extremely risky/difficult wine to make. Even more than usual manual work was required and a lot of time, risk, reading, travel, conversation and patience went into this project... did I mention the costs? I have a particular fondness and affinity for this wine and what it represents moving forward. ‘The Contrarian’ is a wine that goes against common thought.'
$38.00 in any mixed six $34.00 by the straight dozen.
